At last I graduated from my MIM degree!

March 23, 2007

Last Saturday was the graduation ceremony here in our university. That week also was really a mixing moment for me, I am sure the same emotion with my fellow classmates in the graduate school. Most of the graduating students have their practices already, knowing the sequence, other graduating stuffs and shall we say they have already the fixed and exact idea that they belong in the batch of graduating students in that saturday! THEY WERE SURE TO THAT! BUT HEY WHAT ABOUT ME?!

As for me, I cannot understand my emotion that week since we are in the case of waiting for something, no feedback or shall we say, no assurance about the result of the last subject (Org. DB to be exact!). We were 12 takers for this subject 2 from MIM and 10 from MIT. Flashback from the history of the graduate school especially in this subject and its professor, there is/are always retakers for this. Enough for that!

The result was in last thursday! I PASSED, i really felt sorry for my other 10 classmates for they did not make it to the subject. Only two passed and also only two were the graduates for MIM/MIT, one for MIM (who is me, thanks GOd!) and one for MIT. History repeats itself!

My efforts and sacrifices for the past months of review and sleepless night were paid off! I earned my masteral degree with confidence and dignity!-lol-

THE 300 MOVIE - Prepare for Glory!

Last Sunday I’d watched the movie "300" because some of my friends recommended this as movie to watch for this quarter. I together with my gf had watched the movie. It was mixed emotion and comments from the two of us. I was satisfied with the whole content but my gf, she insisted that the ending part of the movie was hanging and it need for part 2.

Here’s the synopsis of the movie:

Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller’s (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale. Visit this site for the review (Review of the Film).

God bless everyone!

Prepare for glory! (strucking statement from the movie!)
